About the Director & Writer
KIMBERLEY MAURICE has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Screenwriting Certificate. She has been writing since the age of three when she scrawled out her first "novel"with red crayon. She has always had a vivid imagination and a passion for storytelling and truth.
Over the past few years, Kimberley has written for newspapers and online magazines, theatrical productions, music videos, film, and television. She has worked with production companies in Los Angeles and Toronto as a writer, story-editor, development & producer's assistant, and talent liaison. She also stage managed and co-directed a traveling dinner theatre production to raise funds for an AIDS awareness & prevention program in Zambia, and she has written and directed several short films. Most recently, she co-wrote the one-woman-show "The Life & Times of a Modern Day Mary," and is excited to direct her short film, "Ima Dola" in Edinburgh this fall.
Kimberley currently lives in Scotland where she is writing, working, adventuring, collaborating, and generally enjoying the craziness of life.
